Arrival
Most international participants will arrive in Rio de Janeiro at the Tom Jobim International Airport (GIG), which offers excellent airline connection for the whole world, at a distance of less than 20 minutes from the inner city.

Air Travel
The airlines flying from Europe and USA directly to Rio de Janeiro (without a stopover in São Paulo, which is recommended) are: Iberia, TAP, Air France, TAM, Delta and American Airlines.
For flights from South American countries to Brazil and for domestic flights we have negotiated a discount of 8 % for those traveling with GOL Airlines. Multiple flights within Brazil
The TAM Brazil AIRPASS was created to reach clients, both foreign and Brazilian, who reside out of the Brazilian territory and wish to travel within Brazil at an attractive rate.
To qualify the client must:
Purchase an International ticket with the origin being outside of Brazil and the destination being any city in Brazil;
The trip may be completed using segments operated by JJ(TAM) and/or JJ*(code share flights operated by Brazilian regional carriers, with whom TAM has established an agreement – given that the use of these code share are subject to the predetermined classes of services).
The TAM Brazil AIRPASS offers from 4 (Four) to 9 (Nine) sectors (coupons) to be flown in Economy class.

Visa
Passport-holders from countries in Western Europe as well as from South America will not need a visa to enter Brazil. For some nationalities the visa has to be applied before arrival at the Brazilian Embassy or Consulate. Useful information is also available at: www.dpf.gov.br (look for "tabela de vistos"). The Conference Secretary can provide qualified delegates with a letter confirming their intent to attend the ICPS-29 Conference, 2008.
