Note to NSF grants holders
NSF support for travel to ICPS in Rio (as for conferences in general) has to be obtained through the research programs, either through a supplement request to an existing grant or through a new proposal. The Office of International Science and Engineering, OISE (previously INT) may add some support for a proposal that goes to research directorates, particularly if it involves students and young researchers. Therefore, if you want to bring or send your graduate students or post-docs to ICPS, you may consider this possibility. If you need more information about OISE funding, you may contact EVAN NOTMAN in OISE directly by email at ENOTMAN@NSF.GOV or obtain further information from http://www.nsf.gov/div/index.jsp?org=OISE.
