Abstract Submission

Late News session abstract submission

During the ICPS-29 a special session will be devoted to post-deadline late news contributions. Abstracts reporting important recent results and developments may be submitted from May 5th until May 20th, 2008 to the web based system. The Program Committee will select relevant contributions for oral presentations. For this reason, we kindly ask for highest quality contributions only.

Contributed paper abstract submission closed

Abstract submission is closed for contributed papers. Only invited and plenary speakers can still submit their abstract.

Scope

The conference will cover all aspects of semiconductor physics including: growth, surfaces and interfaces, bulk, defects and impurities, wide-band-gap semiconductors, molecular systems and organic semiconductors, heterostructures, quantum wells, superlattices, quantum Hall effect, nanostructures: two-, one- and zero-dimensional systems, semiconductor quantum electrodynamics, quantum information and processing, spin-related phenomena, applications and devices, new materials, concepts and techniques and carbon based materials.

Important notes

Abstracts submissions are only accepted via the ICPS-29 online submission system. Any abstracts submitted via email or fax are not accepted. In the abstract submission system, the abstracts have to be entered as plain text in English and without figures or mathematical formulas. The text must range between 50 and 600 words. Copy and paste from other text editors is possible. As figures are not allowed in the abstract, we encourage all authors to include references of their relevant publications into the abstract.

Note that when submitting your abstract you will be asked to create your personal submission space which is different from creating your conference registration.

Young scientists who are the first author on a paper presented at the conference and have obtained their Ph. D. no more than one year before the date of submission of their abstract are eligible for one of the IUPAP Young Author Best Paper Awards.

To submit your abstract (invited and plenary speakers and Late News session only):
